#MermaidYogis Meetup Dana Point

SoCal yoga lovers! We are so stoked to be bringing LA and San Diego together again for a #MermaidYogis event supporting an amazing cause – Warriors for Healing.

For those who are new to our tribe, Mermaid Yogis are a group of water loving yoga addicts – men and women alike, from all backgrounds, coming together via social media and meeting up in real life.

#MermaidYogis blossomed from a shared love by @stoked_yogi Amelia Travis and Mandy Burstein, aka @zengirlmandy – a deep love of the ocean, yoga, and community. In 2014, #MermaidYogis meetups brought together over 300 yogis from Southern California, and we are back at it with an event in Dana Point on Saturday, March 28.

Our mission: Create connections. Build community. Share the love of yoga.

Awesome teachers including original mermaid yogis Amelia Travis & Mandy Burstein, as well as Andrew Sealy, Koya Webb, Rivka Reynoso, Jade Alectra, Audrey Sarquilla, Kim Bauman, Cat Walker, and Megan Olind.

Why

This donation based event is supporting an amazing cause: providing yoga to vets with PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder).

We also have a pro film crew coming for a short film about unity through yoga. The crew of “We are ONE: for the LOVE of yoga” will be on-site at this meetup, and when you arrive at event you will be asked to sign a video release.
